✓ Shabbat-friendly with shared Shabbat and Havdalah experiences

      ✓ Nature-based children’s program (ages 2–10)

✓ Nature walks and family adventures

✓ Dessert, music and good times around the campfire

✓ Plenty of time to relax, explore and connect with nature

✓ Opportunities to meet other young families and build new friendships

✓ Inspiring sessions with a Jewish educator

The retreat is Shabbat-friendly, with a full program that allows every family to participate at their own pace.

Children’s activities include a mix of supervised sessions and shared family experiences, giving parents time to recharge as well as time together as a family.

Some activities are child drop-off sessions and others are designed for families to participate together. A detailed schedule will be shared before the retreat.

    • A Weekend in Rhythm

There’s no need to rush from one thing to the next.

✓ Mornings begin slowly, with tea, snacks and breakfast before the day gets moving. Then, while the kids head off for nature-based adventures, adults can choose from yoga, mindfulness and workshops – or take the opportunity for a little downtime.

✓ Throughout the day, we come back together for delicious meals, bush play, creative activities and family experiences.

✓ There might be a walk and a dip to local falls, Indigenous learning, time to explore or simply a chance to sit in the fresh air while the kids play nearby.

✓ As the sun goes down, the pace shifts again. We gather around the campfire for music, stories and Shabbat moments, followed by experiences like our guided drumming circle under the stars.

✓ And if your idea of retreating involves a massage, we agree. Optional massage bookings will be available throughout the weekend at an additional cost.

✓ You can join as much or as little as you like. This weekend is yours too.

      Friday
Arrive, settle in, connect with other families and welcome Shabbat together.

      Saturday
Children enjoy nature play, creative activities and outdoor adventures while adults choose from workshops, movement, learning or simply time to unwind. Families come back together throughout the day for meals and shared experiences including a refreshing swim in a nearby waterfall and other water play activities during the day.

As Shabbat draws to a close, we gather for Havdalah around the campfire, followed by stories, songs and time together under the stars.

      Sunday
Enjoy a relaxed morning, final activities and time together before heading home refreshed and reconnected.
