A weekend to breathe, connect, and play — together.

Step away from the busy rhythm of everyday life and into a soulful, nature-filled retreat designed for Jewish families with kids aged 2–12. Nestled in peaceful bushland, this is a chance to slow down, make memories, and simply be together.

Whether you’re sleeping under the stars or in a cosy room, expect a Shabbat-friendly weekend of creativity, connection, and calm.

 

Includes:

• Kosher catering – all meals included (excluding snacks)
• Nature-based kids program – for ages 2–12
• Adult sessions – yoga, learning, quiet reflection
• Shared family experiences – campfire dinners, music, bushwalks, and more

Please note: Children outside 2–12 years are welcome, however, programming is tailored to that age group.

It is NOT a pet-friendly retreat.

 

A Weekend That Flows

Here’s what a day might feel like:

• Mornings begin gently, with tea, snacks, and a chilled start followed by a nourishing breakfast
• Adults enjoy yoga and mindfulness with Danielle Belleli from Botannix Studio
• Kids head off for adventures — like bush tucker walks with an Indigenous leader from Koori Kinnections or zip lines, high ropes and archery with expert guides
• We come together for delicious meals and family downtime
• Afternoons are filled with workshops, bush play, and creative exploration
• Shabbat ends with Havdalah around the campfire with music, stories, and song under the stars
• The day winds down with a guided drumming circle under the stars

Plus: optional massage tent bookings available all weekend (not included in price)

 

Accommodation Options 

Think back to the school camp days you loved — this retreat is simple, rustic, and all about meaningful moments, not luxury. All prices include: kids program, adult workshops, all meals, and Shabbat-friendly activities. 

Choose the style that best suits your family – Please note the cost is per person, not per room: 

 

Camping 

Pitch your tent under the stars and enjoy the full nature experience. 

• $154 per adult | $120 per child 

• Shared bathrooms with hot showers 

• BYO camping gear (tent, bedding, warm layers — winter-ready!) 

• We’ll take care of the food, programming, and cosy vibes 

 

Bunk Room Stay 

A classic camp-style dorm room with heating and air conditioning. This room would work for you if you want your whole family to be in the same room. 

– $195 per adult | $170 per child
– Each family gets their own private bunk room (no sharing with others). Each room has 4-6 sets of bunk beds.
– Shared bathroom and shower facilities
– Bunk beds provided – BYO linen, pillows, and blankets or sleeping bags
– Optional: Add a private bathroom for your family for only $45 per adult (limited numbers available). The bathroom is in a separate building from the bunk rooms. Only your family would have access.  

Please note: these are basic dorm-style rooms designed for school groups — think functional over fancy. 

 

 

Private Room

Basic lodge style accommodation in a teacher-style dormitory block. Each room has either 1 double bed or 1 single bed with an additional mattress on the floor. Every bedroom has a private ensuite. There are no connecting bedrooms however you can request rooms that are next door to one another.

– $240 per adult | $210 per child
– Choose a single or double bedroom (limited availability) ***DOUBLE BEDROOMS SOLD OUT *** ONLY SINGLE ROOMS  WITH AN EXTRA MATRESS AVAILABLE.
– Ensuite bathroom included
– BYO linen, pillows, and blankets or sleeping bags 

 

What to Pack

We’ll send a full packing list closer to the retreat with all the details about what to bring, but think:

• Comfy clothes, warm layers, water bottles
• Flashlight, toiletries, favourite books or board games
• Bedding for your room or tent
• BYO Musical instruments
